Hi, I’m Ali. I’m a very experienced and versatile television Producer / Director, Series Director and Series Producer specialising in high end factual and factual entertainment series.

With a passion for travel, adventure, food and music I have had the privilege to film all over the world, making programmes spanning a diverse range of subjects – from rock stars writing songs with the world’s most remote tribes to go-karting kids who dream of becoming F1 racing drivers. 

Along the way I’ve also directed a life affirming single doc about a remarkable Mississippi man born with no legs, filmed a survival expedition across South America, and made an Indiana Jones inspired adventure archaeology series. 

I’ve fed Robson Green to sharks, shared a hammam with Gordon Ramsay, dangled Richard Hammond off the side of the world’s tallest building, taken Chris Tarrant to Chernobyl, and asked national treasure Penelope Keith to judge a custard pie throwing competition.

Whatever the content or wherever the location, I have a proven track record of delivering strong, thoughtful, humorous and entertaining films, and bringing the best out of high profile presenters, new talent and countless contributors. 

I am extremely proud of my programmes and I’m excited about what may lie in wait on a future project.
